The year is 2020. Times are kind of crazy. We want to make sure that our customers as well as drivers take extra care in not spreading germs or illness during this time. We are still in operation and actually believe that now is a better time than ever to stay home and get your drinks delivered. But we must still check ID when delivering alcohol to ensure that we don’t deliver to minors.

For every delivery please show your ID to the driver while holding it in your own hands, no need to pass your ID to the driver.

Are you in self quarantine or social distancing? Please email us at admin@designateddelivery.com or call us at (306)962-2232 for your options for a completely contact-free delivery. An example would be to show your ID to the driver through your door window.

Special delivery requests can be made during checkout. Example: “Contact-free delivery please, I’ll show my ID through my window. Drop order off on step.”

Your driver needs your signature to complete the order. This is collected on your own phone so there is no need for phones to exchange hands. Open the app and your driver will queue your signature request, which will pop up on your phone. Sign with your finger and press send.

Do our drivers wear gloves? ? We’ve gotten a few questions lately about whether or not our drivers wear gloves; they don’t. The truth is, rubber gloves are only as clean as the last thing they touched and would need to be changed constantly to be any more effective than clean hands. Even though our drivers are careful, even if they do everything 100% right, we cannot guarantee what your product(s) came into contact with before our driver picked your order up at the store. The buck stops at YOU! You’re the last point of contact before you raise that drink to your lips. Here are a few steps we recommend when receiving a delivery from us, or a delivery from anywhere for that matter. 1. Ask your driver to set your order down outside of your door. 2. Wearing rubber gloves or holding a disinfectant wipe, remove and discard or recycle the bag or box that your product(s) came in. 3. Use disinfectant wipe to clean product(s). 4. Bring inside and wash your hands with hot, soapy water for at least 20 seconds. Wash product(s) again too to be extra careful. 5. Do jumping jacks/dance/stay fit for bikini season 2021. 6.
